Facilities
The main disabled access is situated at the front of the building. There is also access at the rear. There are approximately twenty four parking spaces and an additional four disabled spaces.
At the main reception centre there is a T wave loop amplifier and a portable amplifier available for use during consultations. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
Parking
At Castle Surgery, we’re lucky enough to be able to offer free on-site parking for our patients (see green outline) for their first two hours between 8am and 6pm. This is to stop outside visitors leaving their cars in the car parks all day preventing patients access. However, the spaces are limited, and parking can be quite tight.
- Green: patient parking, including designated disabled parking areas. This area is free for 2 hours during 8am and 6:30pm Mon-Fri.
- Yellow: this is a public car park. Please observe parking instructions and charges. Failing that, there is also a multistorey car park next to the yellow zone.
- Red: parking areas for doctors, please do not park or obstruct this area as our doctors often have to come in and out of the practice to deal with patient matters.
- Blue: this is our staff parking. Please do not park here also.
When attending the surgery, please allow extra time to park. Please be considerate of others, especially those where mobility may be more difficult for them.
